About the Project: Yuva Mitra is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Project
Coordinator for the “Enhancing Legal Minimum Wage Awareness in the Seed Supply Chain” initiative.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing activities aimed at
improving awareness, capacity building, and advocating for legal wage compliance in the seed sector.
Plan and execute project activities in alignment with the initiative’s objectives.
Conduct training sessions for farmers and laborers on legal wage regulations and compliance.
Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of project strategies and
Establish and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including farmers and laborers.
Conduct community outreach programs, including trainings, awareness sessions, and skill
Promote awareness and understanding of legal minimum wage regulations.
Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for stakeholders to enhance their
understanding of legal wage compliance.
Provide support to individuals and other stakeholders in adopting best practices for wage
Accountable to collect field data with the ODK or KOBO platform and manage MIS.
Collect primary data to assess the impact of the project.
Prepare regular daily, monthly, and quarterly progress reports.
Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to adjust strategies based on field feedback.
Perform any other tasks/roles assigned by the Management of Yuva Mitra.
Proven experience in field coordination and community engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in diverse communities and with different stakeholder groups.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Planning and execution of project activities.
Conducting training sessions on legal wage regulations and compliance.
Willingness to travel within the project area.
Knowledge of the Indian Minimum Wages Act.
Expertise in MS Office, photography, presentation through a projector, and internet browsing.
