The aim of Arogya Mitra project is to build resilient ecosystem against Malnutrition in Jawhar taluka of Palghar District. One of the objectives of this project is to screen, admit and refer moderate malnourished children and pregnant lactating women. In order to establish this objective, a three day health camp was organized at Nandgaon, Dharanpada and Pondichapada PHCs. The major aim of this health camp was to screen all types of diseases prevailing in the project area, make the record of the same and provide the primary medication for the same. It included people from all type of age group containing pregnant women, lactating mother, new born babies, children of all age groups, adolescent girls, malnourished women, elder people and many more.
Arogya Mitra project team has the record of each and every patient visited and their health details as per the case paper. Primary medication has already been given to these patients. Team is now planning to do follow up of the patients who are pregnant, malnourished, suffering from some severe disease or any other special case.
