The goal of this project is to increase groundwater recharge and ensure water security through the revival of existing water bodies to support small & marginal farmers of the drought-prone area in Sinnar Block of Nashik district. This project is running in 319 villages of 6 blocks namely Sinnar, Yeola, Chandwad, Nandgaon, and Malegaon of Nashik district covering 66990 households. 55 dams and MI tanks will be revived by desilting mechanism and 60 Water User Associations will be formed resulting in the building of social capital.

Jal Samruddhi project in partnership with TATA Trust and Maharashtra Govt. has been started and working with the full boom. The project was inaugurated on 10 th March, 2018 in the presence of dignitaries from the participating agencies and farmers.
