पुरस्काराविषयी विषयी थोडेसे
Yuva Mitra has been implementing various rural development initiatives based on health, education, environmental conservation, livelihood, agriculture and water management for the all-round development of women, youth and farmers as well as boys and girls in the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana for the last three decades. Sunil Bhau and Manisha Tai founded Yuva Mitra Sanstha with a view to improving the quality of life of drought-hit people in Maharashtra. Sunil Bhau has done a lot of work for water resource rejuvenation and development, agricultural development, building and strengthening of farmer producer organizations and Water User Associations and sustainable development of small holder farmers in Maharashtra. With his inspiration, Yuva Mitra Sanstha is doing a lot of work on the issues of water and sustainable livelihood and creating livelihood opportunities for landless families. At the same time, it has expanded its reach through initiatives such as Jaljeevan, Jalkavach, Atal Bhujal and Jalsamriddhi for sustainable agriculture in rural areas. Yuva Mitra Sanstha has so far set up a model of sustainable development for more than 140,000 families and the cooperation and contribution of CSR, government departments and other organizations in this work is invaluable.
Unfortunately, we lost our Sunil bhau during the Covid pandemic. In this context, we decided to start the Jalyodh Award in memory of Sunil Bhai. This is his third year. Let us come together and celebrate the legacy of a true water warrior.
युवा मित्र ही सामाजिक संस्था गेल्या तीन दशकांपासून महाराष्ट्र, हरियाणा आणि मध्यप्रदेश या राज्यांमध्ये महिला, युवक व शेतकरी तसेच मुले आणि मुली या सामाजिक घटकांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी आरोग्य, शिक्षण, पर्यावरण संवर्धन, उपजीविका, शाश्वत शेती आणि पाणी व्यवस्थापन या विषयांवर आधारित ग्रामीण विकासाचे विविध उपक्रम राबवित आहे.
सुनील भाऊ आणि मनीषा ताईंनी महाराष्ट्रातील दुष्काळग्रस्तांचे जीवनमान सुधारण्याच्या दृष्टीकोनातून युवा मित्र संस्थेची उभारणी केली. सुनील भाऊंनी जलस्त्रोत पुनरुज्जीवन आणि विकास, कृषी विकास, शेतकरी उत्पादक संस्था तसेच पाणी वापर संस्था यांची बांधणी व बळकटीकरण आणि महाराष्ट्रातील अल्पभूधारक शेतकऱ्यांच्या शाश्वत विकासासाठी भरीव कार्य केले आहे. त्यांच्याच प्रेरणेने युवा मित्र संस्था पाणी, शाश्वत शेती, शेती उत्पादक संस्था उभारणी आणि उपजीविका या प्रश्नांवर भरीव कार्य करत आहे. तसेच युवा मित्रने ग्रामीण भागात शाश्वत शेती, केंद्र पुरस्कृत १०,००० शेतकरी उत्पादक संस्थांची उभारणी आणि बळकटिकरण याचबरोबर जलसमृद्धी, जलजीवन, जलकवच आणि जलसंधारण या उपक्रमांद्वारे आपली व्याप्ती वाढवली आहे. युवा मित्र संस्थेने आजपर्यंत १४०००० हून अधिक कुटुंबासाठी शाश्वत विकासाचे मॉडेल उभे केले असून या कार्यामध्ये CSR, शासकीय विभाग आणि इतर संस्थांचे सहकार्य आणि योगदान अमुल्य आहे.
दुर्दैवाने, कोविड महामारीच्या काळात आपण आपले सुनील भाऊ गमावले. ह्या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर सुनील भाऊंच्या स्मरणार्थ आम्ही जलयोद्धा पुरस्कार सुरू केलेला आहे त्याचे हे तृतीय वर्ष. त्याचबरोबर उत्कृष्ठ पाणी वापर संस्था हा पुरस्कार या वर्षी पासून सुरू केला आहे.
चला, आपण एकत्र येऊन एका खऱ्या जलयोद्धयाचा वारसा साजरा करूया.

Objective of the Category
Yuva Mitra believes it is our duty to recognize and honor water warriors who have made sustainable contributions to water resource rejuvenation and conservation over the past 10 years. This annual award, given in memory of Sunil Pote, founder of Yuva Mitra and a key figure in Nashik’s water revolution, aims to inspire others in rural areas to take up similar efforts.
By recognizing these water warriors, we aim to encourage Jalnayaks to keep up their important work with fresh energy, helping their villages achieve lasting development.
Eligibility
Candidates should have contributed to sustainable development in water rejuvenation, and conservation in Maharashtra, leading to sustainable agriculture and improving the quality of life for community dependent on these water resources. Candidate should have successfully implemented innovative and pioneering projects or initiatives through community participation that promote water conservation, environmental preservation, drought mitigation, youth welfare, and the sustainable development of dryland farming, serving as a model for society.

पुरस्काराचे उद्दिष्ट
जलसंपदा पुनरुज्जीवन आणि विकास-संवर्धन कार्यात गेल्या किमान १० वर्षात शाश्वत कार्य केलेल्या जलयोद्धयांची ओळख निर्माण करणे आणि त्यांचा सन्मान करणे हे युवा मित्र आपले कर्तव्य मानते.
महाराष्ट्रातील नाशिक जिल्ह्यात जलक्रांती घडवून आणणाऱ्या आणि जलसंपदा विकास उपक्रमांच्या क्षेत्रात काम करणाऱ्या कोट्यवधी भारतीयांसाठी प्रेरणास्त्रोत असलेल्या युवा मित्रचे संस्थापक सुनील पोटे यांच्या स्मृतीप्रीत्यर्थ दरवर्षी हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो. या जलनायकांच्या सन्मानाद्वारे प्रेरित होऊन ग्रामीण भागातील इतर जलसेवकांना जलस्त्रोतांचे पुनरुज्जीवन आणि संवर्धनासाठी प्रवृत्त करणे, तसेच या पुरस्काराच्या निमित्ताने आपापल्या गावात शाश्वत विकास घडवण्याची प्रेरणा घेऊन जलसेवक उत्साहाने कामाला लागावेत, त्यांच्या कार्याला बळ मिळावे अशी आमची इच्छा आहे.
पात्रता
उमेदवारांनी महाराष्ट्रात जलसंपदा विकास, पुनरुत्पादन, संवर्धन यामध्ये शाश्वत विकासाची कामे केली असावीत आणि परिणामी कृषी विकास घडवून आणण्यात आणि संबंधित जलस्रोतांवर अवलंबून असलेल्या लाभार्थ्यांच्या जीवनमानात सुधारणा घडवून आणण्यात सक्षम झाले असावे. जलसंधारण, निसर्ग संवर्धन, दुष्काळमुक्ती, युवक कल्याण आणि कोरडवाहू शेतीच्या शाश्वत विकासासाठी समाजाला अनुकरणीय आणि पथदर्शिय असेल असे विधायक प्रकल्प किंवा उपक्रम लोकसहभागातून यशस्वीपणे राबवलेले असावे.

WATER USER ASSOCIATIONs
Objective of the Category
Water User Associations play a crucial role in managing water resources, conserving them, planning water bodies at the agricultural and village levels, and building the capacity of their members. In memory of Sunil Pote, founder of Yuva Mitra, who was passionate about water resource development and strengthening Water User Associations and Farmer Producer Organizations/Companies, two awards are being given.
It also recognizes community-based organizations that have adapted innovative practices in water management, focusing on water as a core element while improving the quality of life of the beneficiaries dependent on these resources through agriculture development and institutional building.
Eligibility
- Organization must be registered with the concerned department.
- Water accounts and documents should be up to date
- The balance sheet for the last three years should have been audited.
- All members should be actively involved in the functioning of the organization and at least one member should be present in the General Meeting.
- The adoption of innovative and sustainable water management practices should be noted.
- There should be a record or information that significant positive work has been done on water conservation and water management.
- There should be a record or information that the local community has been actively involved in water conservation efforts.
- There should be detailed documentation and evidence of your work and its effectiveness.
उत्कृष्ट पाणी वापर संस्था
पुरस्काराचे उद्दिष्ट
पाणी वापर संस्था (WUAs) ह्या उपलब्ध जलस्रोतांचे व्यवस्थापन त्याचे संवर्धन, शेती आणि गावपातळीवर जलसाठयांचे नियोजन आणि सभासदांची क्षमता बांधणी यामध्ये महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका बजावतात. एकूणच पाणी वापर संस्थांद्वारे जलस्त्रोतांचे संवर्धन आणि जलनायकांचे एकत्रीकरण या ध्यासाने पछाडलेल्या युवा मित्रचे संस्थापक सुनील पोटे यांच्या स्मृतीप्रीत्यर्थ या वर्षीपासून हा पुरस्कार देण्यात येतो आहे.
या पुरस्काराचे उद्दिष्ट हे जलसंवर्धन आणि व्यवस्थापन पद्धतींना प्रोत्साहन देणे तसेच इतर पाणी वापर संस्थांना नाविन्यपूर्ण आणि शाश्वत परिणामकारक पध्दतींचा अवलंब करण्यासाठी प्रेरणा देणे हा आहे.
पात्रता
उत्कृष्ट पाणी वापर संस्था पुरस्कारासाठी पात्र होण्यासाठी खालील गोष्टींची पूर्तता करणे आवश्यक आहे:
• सदर संस्था संबंधित विभागात नोंदणीकृत असणे गरजेचे आहे.
• पाण्याचा हिशोब आणि दस्तएवज अद्ययावत असावा
• लगतच्या मागील तीन वर्षाचे ताळेबंदाचे लेखापरीक्षण झालेले असावे.
• संस्थेच्या कामकाजात सर्व सदस्यांचा सक्रिय सहभाग असावा आणि सर्वसाधारण सभेमध्ये किमान सदस्यांची उपस्थिती असावी.
• नाविन्यपूर्ण आणि शाश्वत पाणी व्यवस्थापन पद्धतीचा अवलंब केल्याची नोंद असावी.
• जलसंधारण आणि जलव्यवस्थापनावर लक्षणीय सकारात्मक कार्य केल्याची नोंद अथवा माहिती प्रदर्शित असावी.
• जलसंधारणाच्या प्रयत्नांमध्ये स्थानिक समुदायाला सक्रियपणे सहभागी करून घेतल्याची नोंद अथवा माहिती असावी.
• आपले कार्य आणि त्याची परिणामकारकता यांचे तपशीलवार दस्तऐवज आणि पुरावे असावे.
