Yuva Mitra identified the critical issues related to water resource development and started working with the community to resolve the issues since 2008. Water interventions of Yuva Mitra mainly focuses on reviving of existing water bodies so that it could be made available to all naturally. To make the water interventions sustainable, water user association for the maintenance and handling of water bodies are also promoted and strengthened. Current,ly Yuva Mitra has implemented three projects namely regeneration of Diversion Based Irrigation System, Jal Samruddhi (Drought Proofing), Jam River Catchment Area Development Program and Water Campaign which focuses on reviving and maintaining existing water structures in the area to ensure water availability for drinking as well as irrigation purpose.
